Arnold is one of the sweetest dogs I know. He is very friendly towards both humans and other dogs. The puppies just loves him. In harness he is very hard working and strong - definitely one of my best dogs. I got a hold on him when he was five years old. He had completed several long distance and mid distance competitions for other mushers. Arnold had a reputation to be a very good dog in harness but with lots of noise. And noisy he is. But I can live with that... Arnold has a great appetite.

Sweet, sweet Arnold - one of my best dogs passed away in March 2012. He injured one of his eyes on the Norwegian Championship competition in late January. He got a bleeding in the eye and that got infected. We tried to give him medicines for several weeks; the eye got better but not good enough - we did not manage to get rid of the infection, and after a while the pressure inside his eye started to increase because of all the medicine use. The veterinarian recommended to put him to sleep because he would soon be in pain. That was a tough decision - this dog meant a lot to me. He (and Pippi) has taught me almost everything about dog mushing. This gentle character with his hard pulling and eagerness will be strongly missed. And I am sorry I was not able to breed any puppies after him...
